Tiger Talk Update 8.16.18

Today is the last day to sign up for After School Enrichment Club. Club signup will close at 6pm. Please click on Club Info for more details and click on Club Signup to register. The ASE Clubs start on Monday, August 20th.
Below are some upcoming important dates. Our complete calendar of school and PTA events are posted on the website here.
 
8/20 - ASE Clubs begin
8/21 - Grady Girl Scout recruitment event for grades K-5 at 6:15pm in the cafeteria
8/27 - "Independence Day" - new security procedures begin - all students will enter campus independently
9/03 - Labor Day - No School
9/06 - Grandparent's Breakfast for student's whose last names start with A-H
9/07 - Grandparent's Breakfast for student's whose last names start with I-Z
9/10 - Tiger Trot and Chorus rehearsals begin
Thank you to all of the families that have already signed up to join the Grady PTA! You can still sign up/renew your PTA membership online by clicking PTA Membership. Membership is only $6 for 1 person or $10 for 2 people. It is important for Grady Elementary to have families sign up for membership so that the PTA has strength in numbers when lobbying for our children. High membership participation also allows us to participate in PTA programs such as Reflections Art. Signing up for the PTA does not commit you to any volunteering (although we always love having our families volunteer at the school!)

Thank you to our new Tiger partners! We very much appreciate your generosity.  The Tiger partnerships help make a difference in our Grady classrooms by funding programs (including the after school tutoring program, teacher mini grants, student programs, music and art programs, and much more), delivering PTA events to our students, teachers and families (including the winter concert, Tiger Tears Breakfast, Storybook Parade and much more), and enhancing our Grady campus through grounds improvement projects. Become a Tiger Partner today!
