Traditional Art & Clay Club for K-5

This club combines traditional art and clay sculpting and is a wonderful opportunity to learn painting and clay hand-building skills and create original works of art including: canvas paintings, cups, jewelry boxes, pendants, wall art, and portraits.

No previous knowledge is required. Sign up and become a self-confident young artist! Price includes all professional materials.

About your Art instructor: Miss Alicia was born in Spain surrounded by art. A professional artist herself, Miss Alicia hold a BS in Psychology and Art Therapy. She graduated from Harvard with a Master’s degree and her thesis focused on the benefits of the arts in education. Miss Alicia teaches Art to kids at her studio in Tampa.

Basketball Club for 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade

Photography Club K-5

Students learn to express themselves through photography. They will learn the basics about photography such as, aperture, shutter speed, and composition.  They will learn the styles of famous photographers and learn to create their own style. They will build a portfolio and have an off-site student show.  Cameras are supplied (loaned) during the course of the club.

Note:  This program does require a minimum of 10 students, so please encourage friends to sign up too.

Robotics for K-2

Course Description:  Under the direction of Coach Mike, members of the Junior Robotics Club have an opportunity to learn teamwork, engineering, basic programming, problem solving and critical thinking skills all while having fun! Students learn important STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) concepts that can help them throughout their academic careers. Club members will use LEGO® WEDO® and other robotics tools to build robots and machines, program them, troubleshoot problems, and refine their strategies to extend their learning.

Students learn important STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) concepts that can help them throughout their academic and professional careers. Club members will use LEGO® MINDSTORMS® and other robotics tools to build robots and machines, program them to perform specific tasks, troubleshoot problems, and refine their strategies to address practical challenges.
