Dear Members of the Grady Elementary Community,

Grady Elementary PTA is hosting a meeting for the parents of fourth graders on Tuesday, April 1, at 8:00 am at Kahwah Coffee 3928 W. Henderson Blvd (see information about Kahwah here: http://www.kahwacoffee.com/shop/kahwa-coffee-at-henderson/). This brief meeting will be for fourth grade parents to learn about and start planning the fifth grade events, including the Fifth Grade Banquet and class trip. If you have a child in fourth grade and would like to learn more about fifth grade activities and how to participate in the Fifth Grade Committee, please come to this meeting.

Grady Elementary PTA is also hosting a meeting for persons interested in serving on committees or on the board of the 2014-15 PTA on Wednesday, April 2, at 8:00 am at Kahwah Coffee 3928 W. Henderson Blvd. Specifically we are seeking (1) Committee members for the Events, Volunteering, Fundraising, Yearbook and Membership Committees; (2) a Family Night Coordinator; (3) a Dad’s Club Coordinator; (4) a Fifth Grade Parent; (5) an Assistant Yearbook Coordinator; (6) a Box Top Coordinator; (7) PTA Secretary; and (8) PTA Vice Presidents of Volunteer Relations and Sponsorship. There may be additional opportunities available as well. If you have thought about serving the school through the PTA, please come to this meeting. If you are unable to make it to these meetings but are interested in helping, please contact PTA President Damaris Allen at [email protected].
