Calling all Grandparents!  Grandparents please come shop at the book fair with your Grady student on Friday, September 26, either before or after school or perhaps even during lunch.  Grandparents will enjoy a doughnut compliments of Grady Elementary Media Center and Grandparents can enjoy spending time shopping and reading with their grandchildren. 

Also,  we’d like to tell you about an opportunity to help our school and needy kids, too.  Please consider donating the change from your Book Fair purchases to the All For Books Campaign.  The All For Books Campaign provides books to needy children.  For every dollar of change collected, Scholastic will donate a book to a needy child.  The donated change is not kept by Scholastic, but rather, spent on additional book fair purchases for use in the Grady Media Center or for Grady classrooms.  Every child who participates by donating their change to the All For Books Campaign receives a lollipop.  Some lucky  students will draw a specially marked lollipop that allows them to win a poster.  For more information on the All For Books Program, please click here: http://www.scholastic.com/bookfairs/programs/allforbooks/
