Dear Members of the Grady Elementary Community,

Attached please find the Grady Elementary PTA September Newsletter.  The attached September Newsletter is also being distributed in black and white hard copy and should come home in backpacks this week.  An important item of note is that the Family Night at PDQ is set for Friday, October 4, 2013 from 5-8 pm.  The printed, black and white version of the newsletter shows a different date (it turns out that PDQ was double-booked for the original date), but Friday, October 4 (the date set forth in the attached, most recent version of the newsletter) is the correct date.  When you calendar the PDQ family night, please be sure that you calendar it for October 4.

Another upcoming event of note is the Mom’s Night Out, set for Monday, September 30, 2013, starting at 6:30 pm at Kona Grill.  Moms, please get the night off and join us for food, drinks and conversation.  To RSVP or to ask questions, please send a return email to this address, GradyPTACommunication[email protected].  We hope the Mom’s Night Out will be a fun event for our Grady Moms.

Next, there is an opportunity to earn money for Grady (and a bonus $100 gift card for yourself) just by shopping at Westshore Mall during the month of September and taking the receipts to the mall’s guest services desk near Macy’s. Here is a link to the program information and official rules: http://www.westshoreplaza.com/earningforlearning.  Grady was a $2,000 prize winner last year, and it would be very nice to win for a second year.
