Entries for the Doodad Sculpture Contest are due next week! The deadline for submission is Monday, February 10th for K-2nd graders and Wednesday, February 12th for 3-5th graders.
Mrs. Grigsby has given demonstrations about this project in class. There are shoe templates on the front office counter for interested students/parents to pick up. All students must include an artist statement briefly explaining their art along with their names, name of the homeroom teacher and their grade on a separate piece of paper.
There will be school-level awards given out to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention winners for each grade level. We will also be hosting a party celebrating all school-level winners.
