Tiger Talk Update 9.04.18

We need your help to make this year's Grandparents' Breakfast spectacular!! Please click on Grandparents' Breakfast Volunteers and sign up for a volunteer shift to help our grandparents and students have a wonderful breakfast!

9/06 - Grandparent's Breakfast (students whose last names start with A-H) - Volunteers Needed
9/07 - Grandparent's Breakfast (students whose last names start with I-Z) - Volunteers Needed
9/07 - Grady Dad's Club meets for happy hour at 6pm
9/10 - Chorus rehearsals begin
9/20 - Grady Conference Night
10/18 - Family Night at United Skates of America
10/26 - Grady Fall Festival
3/9/19 - Grady Auction Night at Christ the King
 

Grady Dad's Club

The Grady Dad's Club will be meeting for a happy hour on Friday, Sept 7th at 6pm at 81Bay located at 4465 W Gandy Blvd. If you plan on attending, please email Kevin Cowley at [email protected].

Box Tops

Please help us make it another great box top year!  Clip and send in unexpired box tops on the forms that were sent home or in clear ziploc-style bags, with a maximum of 50 Box Tops per bag. Grady will receive 10 cents for every Box Top collected and submitted.  Send in Box Tops between now and Sept 28, 2018.

Backpack Full of Cash Screening

Join us for a free screening of Backpack Full of Cash at Tampa Theatre on September 20th at 7:30pm. This is a free community event for all parents who want to learn more about the real costs of privatizing America's public schools. Click on Backpack Full of Cash for additional details.

Grady PTA Membership
Thank you to all of the families that have already signed up to join the Grady PTA! You can still sign up/renew your PTA membership online by clicking PTA Membership. Membership is only $6 for 1 person or $10 for 2 people. High membership allows us to participate in PTA programs such as Reflections Art. Signing up for the PTA does not commit you to any volunteering (although we always love having our families volunteer at the school!)

Grady Tiger Partners

Our newest Tiger Business Partners are: Bengal level partners Florida Hospital UC- Centra Care and South Tampa Kids Dental Krewe.

Thank you to all of our Tiger partners! We very much appreciate your generosity. The Tiger partnerships help make a difference in our Grady classrooms by funding programs (including the after school tutoring program, teacher mini grants, student programs, music and art programs, and much more), delivering PTA events to our students, teachers and families (including the winter concert, Tiger Tears Breakfast, Storybook Parade and much more), and enhancing our Grady campus through grounds improvement projects. Become a Tiger Partner today!
