As a reminder, we had a schedule change due to Hurricane Dorian makeup days. Monday dismissal will now be at regular time (1:55 pm) through the end of December. The next early release Monday will be on January 13th. Monday clubs are in the process of being moved to 2:15 - 3:15 pm. Please note that there are no ASE Clubs next week, September 16 - 20th due to parent conferences, but Chorus will still be held on Monday, September 16th. Rehearsal will go from 2:15 - 3:15 pm and students will be dismissed from the front of the school.

Volunteer Opportunities
We need volunteers for our Chick-fil-A Art Exhibit and Family Night and our Tiger Trek Fundraiser. To view all PTA volunteer opportunities, please click on Volunteer. This link will always be updated with our open volunteer opportunities.
To volunteer at school in any capacity, you must complete the background check first: Background Check Application for Volunteers. The application must be renewed on an annual basis. Click on the word “Apply” on the left side of the page and fill out the forms (you will need your driver's license number). When you do volunteer at Grady, make sure you bring your driver’s license and sign into the school’s computer and log your hours.
Tiger Trek
We are only 15 days away from Tiger Trek on September 27th! Tiger Trek is our biggest Fall Fundraiser where all proceeds directly benefit our school and students! This year, we are raising funds to build a track on campus! For full details, click on Tiger Trek.
September 20th is the last day to turn in donations to have your Tiger Trek shirt in time to wear on September 27th. Students will still have the chance to turn in donations to win amazing individual and class prizes through September 30th. Cash and checks can be submitted to your teacher in the blue Tiger Trek envelope and online donations can be completed at https://gradytigers.org/

Box Tops
Please help us make it another great box top year! We have great incentives and prizes this year for Box Tops. The class with the most box tops by September 30th will win a pizza party and students will be entered to win individual prizes. For more information, please click Grady Box Tops.
You can submit Box Tops 3 ways:
- Through the Box Top$ for Education app. Send a screenshot of your current uploaded box top amounts in your app to [email protected] to be eligible for prizes.
- Clip Box Tops and turn in on the form sent home or in a Ziploc Bag. Make sure to include your child's name and teacher on the form/ziploc bag.
- Send unscanned receipts to your teacher with your child's name written on the back.
PTA Membership
Thank you to all of the families that have already signed up to join the Grady PTA. We have 329 members signed up, but still need 121 more to reach our goal of 450 members. You can still sign up/renew your PTA membership online by clicking PTA Membership. Membership must be renewed annually. Membership is only $6 for 1 person or $10 for 2 people. Anyone can join the PTA: Parents, Grandparents, Children (6th - 12th grade), Teachers, Faculty, Staff and Community Members. High membership participation provides PTA with strength in numbers when advocating for our students and also allows us to participate in PTA programs such as Reflections Art.
