Registration for Winter After School Enrichment (ASE) Clubs will OPEN on Monday January 22nd at 6PM

and CLOSE on Monday, January 29th at 6pm. 

          

Winter 2024 Club dates: MONDAY, February 5, 2024 AND END ON April 12, 2024

There will be 9 club dates for all clubs (subject to change)

   

Grady Clubs are optional after-school programs that our Grady PTA is proud to offer to our school community. Our program is fully managed by PTA volunteers who work diligently to organize these extracurricular activities. Volunteers are needed before/after clubs to help with student arrivals/dismissals. We strive to provide supplemental enrichment opportunities to give students additional exposure in the areas of arts, technology, health, sports, and more.

          

Grady Elementary will continue its partnership with Homeroom.com to facilitate the upcoming ASE Clubs. Registration and payment are on a First Come, First Serve basis. Please go onto Homeroom.com and set up your students account prior to registration opening on 9/6 @ 6PM. At time of enrollment, parents with multiple children ARE able to register them simultaneously. There is no guarantee for sibling enrollment. All clubs have a Minimum and Maximum number of students that will be permitted to enroll, please note that some clubs fill up quickly. If a Minimum number of students are not registered in a particular club, PTA reserves the right to cancel said club, prior to September 18th start date. Online registration allows you to know immediately whether a particular club is full. If you are unable to get into a club, please sign up for the waitlist. Waitlists allow us to fill spots, if they open, as well as let us know if we should add specific additional clubs for the next club season.

Students are given 15 minutes after school to transition from classes to clubs, during this time they are encouraged to have a snack and a drink. Students in athletic clubs are REQUIRED to bring DRINKS.  Monday clubs begin at 1:05 pm and end at 2:05 pm (due to early release)Tuesday and Wednesday clubs begin at 2:05 pm and end at 3:05 pm. At the end of the club, students enrolled in the YMCA after care program will be escorted to the YMCA location on Grady campus.  All other students will be escorted to the car line for pick up.  YOU MUST HAVE A CAR LINE TAG DISPLAYED IN YOUR VEHICLE to pick up a student from an ASE club, this helps the parent volunteers move the car line as quickly as possible. If you don't have a car line tag, please pick one up at the front office. Third-party after care providers may pick up students enrolled in ASE programs from the car line, however, parents must make separate arrangements with their after care provider for this pick-up.

PARENT COMMUNICATION: It is the parents' responsibility to make sure students and teachers know which club the student should be going to each day after school.  All teachers have a form of written agenda/monthly calendar that should be updated daily to effectively communicate this information.

LATE PICK UPIf you are more than 15 minutes late picking up a student from an ASE Club a $20 late fee in cash must be paid at the school prior to the next club session.  Repeated late pick-up of a student will result in non-refundable termination of your student from the club.

CODE OF CONDUCTGrady’s student code of conduct applies during after school enrichment clubs. A student’s participation in ASE clubs is at the sole discretion and permission of the Grady PTA. The Grady PTA reserves the right to exclude or remove students from one or more clubs based upon such conduct with no refund of club fees paid.
