Inclusiveness and equality are important at Grady Elementary.  We want to ensure our school makes everyone feel welcome and that every student receives an excellent educational experience.  Please take a minute to review the School District's Statement of Non-Discrimination Policy.  It is critically important that we all abide by this policy.  Please direct any questions about the policy to the school or Mr. West, whose contact information is listed below.

Grady's Tiger Trek Walkathon is coming up on Friday, January 30.  T-shirts will be given away on the day of the Walkathon to each student who raises at least $35 by this Friday, January 16.

To be eligible to receive a Tiger Trek T-shirt on the day of Tiger Trek, simply register at Tiger Trek website and collect $35 in funds through the website before January 16, 2015 AND/OR send in the white Tiger Trek donation envelope in your child’s backpack.  If you can’t find the envelope, additional Tiger Trek fundraising envelopes are available in the front office of the schoolAny combination of donations through the website or envelope that equals or exceeds $35 submitted on or before January 16, 2015, will entitle your child to a Tiger Trek t-shirt.

T-shirts will be distributed on the morning of Tiger Trek and they can be worn for all spirit days for this year and each year thereafter.

So, if your child would like to wear a Tiger Trek t-shirt on the day of the event, please send in your envelopes or register your child and collect $35 in donations by January 16, 2015.  To ensure that your child receives the proper size t-shirt, please write in the child’s youth t-shirt size on the envelope (there is no particular place to write this, so just write it anywhere).  Or, if you register on the site, please choose a size from the shirt size selection bar at the bottom of the page.

Students who raise more than $35 after January 16 are still going to be given a Tiger Trek T-shirt, but depending on when the donations are submitted, the T-shirt might not be available on the morning of Tiger Trek.  To be certain that your child has a Tiger Trek shirt on the day of the event, please submit the envelope and/or website donations by this Friday, January 16, 2015.
