Tiger Talk Update 4.16.18 - Book Fair, Coleman Informational Meeting and more

Please note that the Book Fair will remain open until 6:00pm today. Tomorrow, April 17th is the last day of the Book Fair and it will be open from 7:45am until 3:45pm. Here are some important upcoming dates to note:  

  • 5/7 – Spring Concert - The PTA General Meeting begins at 5:30 pm and the show will begin shortly thereafter. Lenny’s subs will be hosting a Grady Family night from 5-8pm the night of the concert. Please let Lenny’s know you are with Grady and they will donate 15% of sales to Grady.
  • 5/7-11 – Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week – We will be sending a flyer home with the details this week.
  • 5/9 – Coleman Informational Meeting for fifth grade parents. Please see below for more details.

Coleman Middle School

Hillsborough County PTA Award Winners

We are very excited to announce that Miss Trupp won Hillsborough County PTA Teacher of the Year and Ellen Lyons won the Hillsborough County PTA Volunteer of the Year at the Hillsborough County PTA Awards on April 12th! Yearbooks are still available on a first come first serve basis and cost $25/Softback Yearbook and $30/Hardback Yearbook. The deadline to order online has already passed. To order a yearbook, please email [email protected].

Tiger Talk Update - Book Fair Extended Hours

The Grady Spring Book Fair opened today and runs through April 17! The Book Fair is a great way to get kids excited about reading and to buy some great summer reads!  Also, you have the opportunity to donate books to your teachers' classroom.

We have extended the Book Fair hours to allow for extra shopping time after clubs, with later hours on Monday for families attending aftercare. The new hours are as follows:

Thursday, April 12th – 7:45am – 3:45pm

Friday, April 13th – 7:45am – 2:45pm

Monday, April 16th – 7:45am – 6:00pm

Tuesday, April 17th –7:45am – 3:45pm

Please note that the Spring Concert date has been rescheduled to May 7th. We apologize for the last minute change, but it was due to circumstances beyond our control.   

Our Book Fair starts on Wednesday, April 11th with a preview day tomorrow.

Autism Awareness

This week is our Nothing Bundt Cakes Fundraiser benefiting the 5th grade banquet. Grady will receive 20% of all purchases made through Saturday when you present the Grady Elementary Fundraiser flyer. It applies to in-store purchases and phone/online orders. Order some delicious cakes, bundtlets or bundtinis for your holiday celebration and help support the 5th grade banquet!

  • 4/2 – Wear blue for Autism Awareness
