Please help set up chairs for the Winter Concert tomorrow at 8 am. It won’t take long to set up the chairs, so please come to the Pavilion tomorrow at 8 am to help.
Bakers and buyers of sweet treats, please bring in baked goods (individually wrapped if possible) to the front office between 7:30 am and 2:15 pm tomorrow for use in our donation-only bake sale at the Winter Concert.

The Winter Concert starts tomorrow night at 6 pm. There will be a short PTA general meeting at 5:45 pm under the Pavilion. At the meeting, we will ratify the gifting of the perimeter fence to the school and establish a $10,000.00 budget to pay for upgraded technology at the school.
The Tropicana Speech Contest was held for the 4th and 5th grade students with 4th grade student Faith House placing 1st, Maggie Warren 2nd, and Ava Green 3rd place. In 5th grade, Taylor Hammond received 1st place, Alex Chagin was 2nd, and Landon Roberts earned 3rd place honors.
The 2nd annual Spelling Bee was held this morning at Grady Elementary School. Emily Azevedo correctly spelled the word "Sanskrit" to take the first place trophy, followed by Daniel Kumm in 2nd place, and Nicole Sapienza in 3rd. There was an incident near Plant High school this morning and Grady was placed on a modified lockdown. The lockdown was lifted at 12:09 p.m.

Grady's Famkly Reading Night at Barnes and Noble will take place on Friday, December 4th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble located at 213 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. Please join us for a night of reading by Grady teachers and faculty. Mrs. Dosal will be reading at 5:00 p.m. and Mr. Tsourakis will do a special reading at 7:00 p.m. Other teachers scheduled to read prior to 7:00 p.m. include Ms. Driggers, Ms. Quevedo, Ms. Ward, Ms. Sandoval, Ms. LaCrosse, Ms. Oliva, Ms. Weathers, Ms. Trupp, and Ms. Harahan. Complimentary hot cocoa and cookies will be served at 7:15 p.m. Please join us for a night of reading, crafts and fun! Barnes and Noble will be giving back a percentage of all sales to Grady Elementary School. So, all purchases made in store on Friday, Dec. 4th or online from Friday, Dec. 4th-Sunday, Dec. 6th will directly benefit Grady Elementary School.
