Dear Tiger Families,

Thank you to Mr. Florio and our students for an amazing Winter Concert last week! They did an incredible job! Also, thanks to our wonderful volunteers who helped set up and clean up after the concert!

·      12/11 - Our Winter ASE Clubs start today. The club sign up period has closed. If you have any questions, please contact Norma Maiz at [email protected].

 ·     12/15 – Barnes & Noble Family Reading Night and Book Fair from 5:30-8:00pm at Barnes and Noblelocated at 213 N. Dale Mabry for our fun Family Night of Reading. The Family Night of Reading will feature book readings by Principal Dosal, Ms. Sandoval, Mrs. Edwards, Mrs. Lempert, Mrs. M. Dosal, Ms. Trupp and Ms. Harahan.  Mr. Tsourakis will read Elf on the Shelf at 7:00pm.  Our students will enjoy fun crafts, hot cocoa and delicious cookies. There will also be a book fair and Grady will get a portion of any purchases made at Barnes & Noble the entire weekend.  For more information on the event, click here:  Family Night of Reading

We have a very exciting week at Grady! 

Our Winter Concert is this Thursday, December 7th in the Pavilion at 6pm. There are multiple events taking place for the winter concert: 

  • 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm - Family Dinner Night at PDQ
  • From 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm, the Science Fair projects and Art Exhibit will be on display in the cafeteria.
  • At 5:00 pm, the donation only bake sale begins.  Please stop by for delicious treats.  All proceeds benefit the fifth grade.
  • At 5:30 pm, there will be a general meeting of the PTA under the Pavilion.
  • At 6:00 pm, the Winter Concert begins!

The last day of ASE club signup for the Winter session is tomorrow, Wednesday December 6th. Please click here to view the list of clubs and sign up online. Clubs begin next Monday, December 11th. 

Finally, thank you to everyone who participated and donated to Tiger Trek! We raised over $10,000, which will directly benefit the free tutoring program, art program, Spring Musical and many other enriching events at Grady. 

Congratulations to Mrs. Trupp's class, our top class overall! The class will celebrate with a Yogurtology party today. Our top classes per grade that have earned a popsicle party are:

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM MUSIC TEACHER STEVEN FLORIO ABOUT THE WINTER CONCERT

This coming Thursday, December 7th, will be our Winter Concert at Grady.

This note contains some reminders for you and your child.

All students in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade have been working on songs for this concert and are invited to join us to sing in the concert. All of our 3-5th Grade Chorus Students are working very hard on their songs and are excited to share them with you!

Students in grades 1-5 will be in school uniform: Plain Navy tops and Khaki bottoms. 

  • Long sleeve shirts under a navy t-shirt, pants and leggings/tights under girl’s dresses are recommended for cooler weather.
  • Please watch the weather forecast, and plan accordingly. We are expecting much cooler temperatures starting on Thursday.

The Students in Grades 1-5 will meet in Mr. Florio's Class, Room 26, starting at 5:15 p.m., but no later than 5:45 p.m. on December 7.

Students in Kindergarten will be dressed in Holiday attire, red and green.

  • Please watch the weather forecast, and plan accordingly. We are expecting much cooler temperatures starting on Thursday.

The Students in Kindergarten will meet in Mrs. Dosal's Class, Room 4, starting at 5:15 p.m., but no later than 5:45p.m. on December 7.

Also starting at 5 p.m., there will be a viewing on Mrs. Grigsby's Art Show in the Cafeteria.

Starting at 5:30 p.m., there will be a quick PTA meeting in the pavilion. 

The concert will start promptly at 6 p.m. in the pavilion.
